What is PTZ Camera and which is the best for outdoor and indoor?

Hey everyone,

I run a Digital Marketing agency and recently renovated our office. We previously had standard surveillance cameras but are now considering installing PTZ cameras for enhanced security. After consulting with a local IP CCTV camera (PTZ Cameras) service provider, we learned that PTZ cameras are more suitable for our needs, offering superior image quality compared to other options.

I'm curious if anyone here has recently installed IP cameras in their office. Which type of camera do you find to be more flexible? I’d love to hear your suggestions and experiences!

The only down side of a PTZ is that they can’t replace a good old fashioned fixed field camera, primarily because whist it’s functions of P, T and Z are being utilised the camera is failing to see anything else.
So a PTZ is very good as an additional layer of CCTV but it will not be able to replace a fixed camera.

If you do install a PTZ I would recommend Hikvision.
