In the settings there was the ability to map the PTT function to a button, I had mine rigged to the car bluetooth connection and mapped one of the stalk controls for PTT, this was on android so I am not sure if the iPhone version offered that. It wasn't perfect but did work although I used the VOX mode more. Brilliant app and was the backbone for the protest convoys that started in Canada and spread globally.
