Hi all I need some advice I am thinking about leaving the army to pursue a job in CP I have been to Iraq twice and once to afghan I am in the infantry after 6 years I am still a private because there is no vacancies in my regt as it is fully manned. I have done a NCO cadder but like I say no vacancies I will be 30 soon really thinking of binning it as the jobs going no where. Would being a private go against me when am looking for work? I have always had good conduct in the army. Any help would be really helpful.
Also does anyone know what sort of resettlement you get for 6 years?
PS forgot to say i do know a handfull of people doing CP i have asked the same questions to just want to put it to a wider circle. many thanks.
