my nuts
Welcome to mine...
This was today talking to my next door neighbour in the back garden...
I stated; "Neither bullets nor buckshot stick in the sky!"
He replied; "Do what now?"
I replied; "Learn to understand English when spoken by an English Man!"
Pause to think...
"Do what Now?"
"Which bit do you want me to explain?"
Pause to think...
"Do what now?"
I asked; "Which bit didn't you understand?"
"Didn't understand none of it!"
I replied; "So you understood all of it?"
He replied; "Do what now?" moving on...
I pointed in the general direction of the nearby small town and stated; "Neither bullets nor buckshot stick in the sky!"
He replied; "I'm shooting up at they squirrels a eatin' of my nuts."
I didn't have an answer for that so asked how is wife was; "Do what now? I thought you was an asking about my nuts?"
I smiled and replied; "Maybe another day..."
I think I may miss really rural Georgia, should we ever move back to the UK.
