just wondering has anyone completed the aremt advanced courses that are available from the three training providers on the aremt uk web site.

there are other companies i know who r trying to get the final bits and bobs into place with regards this course.

those that have done it would it be possible to post there views on it.
i have my eyes on this course later on during the year and just looking feed back.

PLEASE NOTE:
i dont want to hear about the ihcd course bla bla bla this is the course im looking to do
as far as im concerned the aremt is the way forward for me for various reasons, cost, content and have it can be accessed from distance learning. i have my emt-b completed and i found it a very worth while course.

thanks in advance for the help.
(apologies for the abruptness but head is fried tonite, another story for another day)

Good call. I'm a fan of the AREMT route also; probably for many of the same reasons as you. I have EMT-B and am also looking to progress.

I can't comment on the providers listed but I do know that Perseus Risk Management in Rugby offer AREMT EMT-I althought the AREMT-UK website has not been updated to reflect this. I am sure there are other providers who also are not on there either but I can personally vouch for Perseus.

One thing to bare in mind is a requirement of clinical hours (recorded and signed off by a HCP) before progressing: 200 hours for EMT-I and 400 hours for EMT-P if I recall.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the reply

i have looked at the perseus risk and have spoken to those concerned there and im waiting to hear back from them with regards the course. their instructors are our of country at min and due to visa issues they wont be back till later on in the year
