For the record:
A complication of any acute asthmatic attack is a pneumothorax and that’s why ALL asthmatics should have a chest X-ray to exclude a pneumothorax
It is also recognised that a certain body types, long tall males, may develop a spontaneous pneumothorax, which has nothing to do with the first aid treatment of asthma.
