Driving Employment Question

Hello again, thanks again for replies to last post.

I am wondering if the industry has roles for support drivers or non front line drivers. I may have access to some investment and I wondered if companies would ever need ad hoc self employed transport support, for example, resup or driving to a location to " check it out", collecting equipment, staff changeover etc. When I say "check it out" I mean general information, route planning, and not any form of survellience.

I currently work in transport, have good contacts for insurance and lease and can obtain a decent spec vehicle and have it equipped with reasonable bits and bobs which may be of use.

This will perhaps come to nothing, however I just wondered if roles like this exist or if the need would ever arise. I am not a front line security driver however so not suggesting any client or cp driving roles. I have elapsed sia, no hassle to renew or get some other form of licence which would support my role.

Lots of experience driving, no points, no accidents.

Thanks for any advice

I would imagine that any company employing someone to drive would employ someone with some form of SIA licence, that way they would also be available for security tasking's rather than employing two people to do the work of one.
