Firearms Training

Just finished a weeks worth of new search tactics with my Force & it's all change, again.
No more hiding away in rooms that have been cleared as we used to in Slow Methodical ( now called deliberate ). Reactive search is now Emergency Entry & we get to lob 6 bangs about, closing the gap to the Dynamic Entry / Intervention teams. Having one method of searching & speeding it up or slowing it down, dependant on the threat, is a good idea & the method works. Just getting rid of the other old methods to make space for it hurt my brain a bit.
Looks like the powers have realised if the brown smelly stuff hits the spinning thing we won't have 4 hours to call for a DI team, it's going to be an ARV on scene first & they must be suitably trained to deal.

Good stuff putting your tactics on an open forum ;-)

If you think for one minute that's enough detail to 'know' the tactics of a full weeks training then you're very mistaken.
And if you have an ounce of Google fu you'll find detailed open source material on many things far more important / impressive & down right dangerous than this.
Enjoy your search....

Pretty true. Even wikipedia gives you the recipe for tannerite (binary explosives). Not much you can't find these days

Still don't know how they get away with selling that stuff. Have you seen the video of the exploding vehicle?

They "get away with it" because it is legal to own and use. Just like guns are legal to own and carry and use.

You cannot assume that everyone is an idiot except for the authorities and that they have be to protected against themselves. In my experience it is much more likely that people in charge are the idiots. In any case, tannerite requires an impact from a high velocity round inorder to detonate.

There is an argument for the case that the idiots will all blow themselves up and/or shoot themselves eventually, so what's the problem.
