Checked, but not been updated since March 23rd last year. Odd thing, it shows my car near the office door, my truck at the back of the office, my wife's car in the back yard, and an unknown black car in the first drive way... I'll park the truck in a corner of the field and take a still image and post it. Then that will be me done.
But first; since 9/11 the paranoia here about what is secret was at first funny, then very funny, morphing into FFS stupid! It started, as far as I was concerned was when I tried to find out how many of the damaged vehicles that the Iraqi's dragged out of Kuwait when Bush War I was over. Plus how many of the aircraft were replicas as in life size models, and how many had conductive mesh in the wings, engines and wheels? First it was "What you talking about?" then "How you know about that?" Um, Er, it's British Shit. Sorry, can't discuss it with you. Talked to someone in WH, No not that WH, who laughed and asked "Why do you wind them up?" Because I can, and you can't! However, the fun has gone out of it, and I want and need to go home...
During WWII the art of military replicas was basic but good, but with the advent of airborne scanners that looked for electronic radiation, and when found the systems decide ignore it or kill it, as traveling at tree top level and 600 mph, the driver's a bit busy to make the decisions on their own, especially if someone is taking the piss by shooting at them. (I understand that can be quite annoying) So, counter counter counter electronic counter measures rule the day. A long time ago, I worked on that as a technical consultant. Fascinating stuff. My first favourite were the cunning blankets. Initially it was just one kind. It could be hot to make a replica have a thermal image, or cooled to hide a hot vehicle. However, on occasions someone would switch the wrong switch... I used to do 60-90 minutes on these and other similar subjects.
In January 2002 I got an invitation to do my presentation, at of all places, Los Alamos! Got all of the papers and in reading through it I noticed that every presentation was to be recorded and on sale to attendees. Plus it was 45 minutes and not an hour. So I called the organising Lady and asked why 45 minutes what the recording cost. Told, big place, lecture halls spread out, many taking several lectures a day etc., and by the way; Leave everything you bring with you related to your presentation, and you can't have a copy of the recording as it will be classified... There is more, but you get the point. I asked if she had a felt pen and a rule. Said she had a ruler and a felt pen. Why? Put rule across the page just under my name, then drag the felt pen through my name. She said that this most most inconvenient and at short notice. I just said KMA and hung up as she was asking something or other.
