Evening all.

Ex RAMC (CMT1) (was also a loggie in the distant past), left the mob a few years ago and now an Advanced Paramedic in Critical and Urgent care working on Air Ambulances and road based resources in the UK.
My interests are the increasing changes of 'bringing the hospital to the patient' into pre hospital practice with skills/equipment etc that were previously only utilised in A&E but now carried/utilised in the pre hospital environment and how this impacts on how we work in resource poor environments.

Med-1C.

What I have found in the last decade is that advanced medical qualifications specifically certified paramedics are in demand as long as they hold a cross section of transferable skill sets and hold a flexible corporate approach.

Each project from Ukraine, Isreal, and presently Syria where I’m now working, we also hold either an out reach doctor or a deployed Paramedic whom acts primary as a HRA .

Legality and insurance as you would expect are the main reasons though also as most companies hold a training program which makes anyone with advanced medical and training/accessing qualifications more enjoyable.
