I started posting here a while ago for a couple or three reasons; One was I was asked to put some know it all poster talking bollocks about their video cameras and how the worked in low light better than others cameras, and as we were going to move back home to the UK it made sense to meet some intelligent UK like minded people before we moved. Met several here but also met some trainee wankers as well.
Now we have decided to stay here for a number of reasons, even though we are taxed both here and there, we feel that we wouldn't fit in, no matter where we moved to. The most likely place was going to be the Swansea area, as my wife has family there. We had lived in Cardiff before we left in 1989. Then we researched current property prices in Swansea. WTF!!! We live on 3 acres with a 4 acre orchard behind us and a new 10 acre orchard across the dead end road. There in "Planning permission" needed for anything we want to do on our property. Try that in Swansea or anywhere else. Oh yes, almost forgot about firearms and knives. So, we're here until one of us dies. The survivor will sell up and move to OZ where our daughter lives. That will be my wife as I an 10 years older than she. So I am back to writing and designing 'new' versions of surveillance products and up dating a book I wrote that was to be made into a film, 2 weeks before "9/11" happened. Plus I m half way through writing a "Syi-FY" started back in 1986!
