Not worth the aggro from here. Give me something to do when back in Wales.
Oh the joys (sometimes) of living in Really Rural Georgia. Two days of non stop torrential rain, no land line phone, or internet connection. 250 yards away is an underground fibre optic cable spur from the Miami-New York 'backbone.' However with only two properties in our dead end road, we have old underground copper wires from 1948! "Not worth updating Mr. David, as 'The Others' have cable TV that includes the Internet..."

Hah! At least you have running water. Our old hunting camp in Vidalia was an old homestead. We used battery power and barrels of water. For a real bath we'd go to the Withlacoochie river with a towel and a bar of soap. Ah, good times. Nothing like being off the grid to "ground" a person. I actually looked forward to it!
