Just curious to know how many ex-serving chaps are still in the Industry these days and how many have choosen other careers and their reasons for changing?
along with variuos other regiments i have served yes i am ex kosb 90 - 06

Hi Charles I'm ex-KOSB 1987-95. I'm just trying to break into the Industry and have been speaking to a several ex-Borderers over last few months and they have been a great help so far. Just recently got my CP certificate.
Good to hear you've completed your CP Cse, also recieving help from fellow Borderers which from what I understand is & always be welcomed by anyone attempting to get a foothold in the Industry...

Good to see a few ex borders on hear . However no 0ne is using their names to hard to figer out who is who , But think i no who people are lol . Was in KOSB from 1989 until the last days of the regiment in N.I Omagh still serving but looking to brake in to this world next Oct so any help in this matter would be appreciated . I would PM people but not got a clue how to do it . Hope hear from you all soon .

Well I too saw the last few days in Omagh before the change over, however due to moving to another unit & currently still serving I sadly missed Minden, I still keep in regular contact with many other Dan's via that dreaded social network thing scrubber-book I call it (Facebook)
I've been 'earning & learning' for 30 months since my move to keep the brain cells ticking over & as for identifying people, good luck or send a PM

Not done it yet mate on it in March, i'm going with wilplan training, seems the best choice for me, i gotta get it all in quick though as im working at the Olympics in July too, so not much time left to push then im out October cant wait, by the way do i know you gersman7705

Hi there I served with the KOSB from 99 till 06 and I am currently still serving till 1st sept 12. I am on G4S course at the end of feb and will be looking to get on the circuit soon after, I have a ready CV if anyone can help. Robert Hamilton.
