Maritime in the usa

Hey guys,

Need a few tips on what is need to break into the US with maritime, such things like is an SSO course thats backed from the MCA any good state side, is there any qualifications that are solely design for the US market.

With all this great INT you're willing to share could i be necky enough and ask for names and training providers. Reason being i have a "friend" who is going to try and work in TAMPA and would like to concern himself with maritime in that area.

Not a lot for you but most of the MCA qual's can exchanged for USCG tickets by sitting a short conversion exam applied for through your local USCG centre stateside.
