Hi I'm looking to renew my hse first aid ,so i can renew my badge.I would rather do something more advanced but still have it recognized by the sia.Can any one suggest any courses please.
There's two options really. A First aid at Work course, tailored to the CP environment or the FPOS intermediate. These will both be recognised for licensing purposes and should be more constructive than a generic FAW cse.
The Tactical Medical Care course we deliver is essentially a FAW course, tailored for remote and hostile environments and includes additional topics such as; oxygen administration, airway management, spinal injury management, haemostatics, vital signs monitoring and assisting a paramedic (cannulation & fluid resuscitation). It is scenario based with bags of hands on. We have spaces available on the October course.
