Police competency based questions

Hi all,
This is my first post so apologies if this is in the wrong place. I'm very interested in joining a Police force close to me. I know this isn't going to be for a while so I'm using the time to my advantage to practice the questions and the the fitnesse test and interview stage if I'm lucky enough. I just want to know what to expect, I haven't applied before so it is all new to me. Does anyone have a on link to a site with the questions or the questions.

The competencies can be different depending on which force you are applying for, so you may end up wasting your time if you study the wrong ones. Competency based applications are available on the web but you may have to search for them. Look on individual force websites advertising for transferee's or have a look at SOCA, UKBA etc etc.

Spelling, grammar and punctuation, tend to be high on the list of must haves though Welshnatural.........hint hint.

Thank you both for the replys. Is better start reading a dictionary then! I understand what you are saying though grammar seems to be in the list of positives. Ill have a look and see what questions I can find.
