Gary here from Cape Town. I teach Gracie Jiu Jitsu and my instructor Ryron Gracie is coming to South Africa Apr 26th - May 5th & will be available for seminars.
We're hosting a few seminars but if anyone's interested in booking their own, or arranging some private classes please let me know. Ryrons focus isn't on the sportive stuff (often irrelevant to close protection), but on practical techniques (including control & restraint) that can be used when firearms or de-escalation are not an option. He's just come back from Iraq where he's been training the troops (the 'gracie combatives' programme has been officially adopted by the US army), and has taught many special forces/police/security units - testimonials here - http://www.gracieacademy.com/military_testimonials.asp .
