Sarin Gas in Syria

Confirmed by labs in France ... nerve gas used by the Syrian Govt.
With Assad getting high level backing (and advanced weapons) from Russia and Iran, he has now re-taken all of the suburbs in Damascas. At least, that's the "truth" based on published news reports. It appears that Assad is re-gaining control in Syria.

All told ... an unfortunate series of events - because it looks like Assad is going to get away with these uses of nerve gas, and the West is not going to lift a finger. That's not a good precedent.

True Assad father.
But seams rebels also use gas getting high level backing (and advanced weapons and training) from E.U. France and UK at the head.

Sergic08 - thanks for bringing up Halabja. I remember that news about the Kurds - but to be honest I did not comprehend how many casualties were involved there. Here is the Wikipedia article ...

Halabja poison gas attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

While it is clear that the Iraqi's were the primary culprits in Halabja - it's eye opening to go back and look at the global companies that provided the precursor chemicals for that attack.

it looks like things are repeating themsevles in Syria - although on a much smaller scale. it seems unlikely that the real people giving the orders, or the ones supplying the chemicals, will be held responsible in Syria.
