I was sent this vacancy by a coy i know, to what i belive it is advertised somwere on the net, but after chatting to them this morning they have asked if i could find a suitable candidate or to forward the vacancy to the aproppriate, the deatils i have are as follows....
A Security/Handyman to work on a large fully staffed formal estate near Ascot, Berkshire. The owners have homes around the world & are in part time residence.
The Security & Handyman duties involve looking after the security dog they have, all security aspects on the estate & carry out general maintenance duties on the estate. You will report to the Head of Security & Maintenance. Some driving of the employers might also be required & maintenance of the family’s cars. Initially the job is a live out job but for the right employee they might after a trial period be able to provide self contained accommodation on the estate. The Security/Handyman duties would probably involve working 45-50 hours per week. A new weekend property is being built so initially, depending on when the property will be finished, the job might involve more labour intensive duties helping the builders panting etc & would be Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm. Once the new property has been completed the 5 day working week will involve working at weekends
The environment is formal. You would form part of a team. From time to time, you may be required to work at the owner’s London house, which is 30 miles away.
Written and spoken English are essential and due to the location of the property a full clean U.K driving licence is also essential.
The employer offers excellent working conditions in a wonderful household that encourages its staff to strive for the very best.
The existing team consists of young, energetic, dynamic employees who pay great attention to detail so this job would suit a Handyman/Security with similar qualities.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience working in one similar position on a high net worth private estate & verifiable written references from these employers.
