hi, im interested in gaining my SIA licence but most companies offer course for two grand plus. Is this the structural norm or can i get it cheaper? and if so, which companies do u recommend?

regards M (SecurityOne)

You can get it cheaper but you get what you pay for.
I would recommend speaking to Brummie(rst) Or Marcus (Morrigan) and ask them about their course that they have just run .The Feedback from the course is very good.I think there is a thread on here somewhere.
Good luck

Hi security One,
with reference your question why are the course £2000+?
As a Training Deliverer we all have Overheads that are costed to the course fees, ie: electric, Heating, Vehicles, IT, Pamphlet printing, Instructors wages, Insurences and the biggest cost is accommodation, Plus we are businessmen, but £2 - 3000 is just a small investment that can be earned back 10 fold once qualified.

i hope that explanation has answered your question

SecurityOne, I have attended the Regal/Morrigan Cp and HECPO course. Trust me when I tell you this is the course you are looking for. The costs are low low low for the training you will get. You will have to take a leap but Brummie will give you what you need to make your cash back. Plus heading out on an adventure has a value of its own.
