Starting out

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help direct me in the right direction. I'm looking at starting out in the close protection world, and need some guidance on courses etc.

My aspiration is to work abroad. What courses will I need to do?

My history:

I'm 27
Ex infantry soldier 7 years
2 operational tours

Need a course that accepts Enhanced Learning Credits.

Do I need a hecpo course or just a basic CPO course in order to work abroad?

Any guidance would be more than welcome.

Thanks.

Not to Sure if you have already been dealt with but Horizon seems a good starting point to look into, They do have Enhanced Learning Credits (ELCAS) as a Financial option

Just some info I've came across, Best of luck

Hello,
Sofia tactical offers close protection training (including firearms) & maritime operative training as well as free post graduation job placement. Our courses take place in Bulgaria tutored by ex service men. (The course is in English) Post graduation, we utilise our connections within the industry to offer positions abroad to new graduates. If you're interested and would like more information don't hesitate to contact me. Courses run every month but usually fill up quickly.

Hi Jay, expect you're sorted by now. There are a whole plethora of training providers out there, some of which are actually worth the time and money, others not so much! What kind of geographical area are you looking to train in?
