Moaning old bugger
I object strongly.
I'm not that old. Not in the grand scale of things.
It is so hard for the youngsters these days, harder to find work, harder to get a foot on the property ladder, harder to progress when old gits like me hang onto jobs longer and longer, because we have to, or need to in order to assist our kids and grand kids.
As FBG said, back in the dawn of time when we started just a desire and determination was enough to get a foot on the ladder.
Once your ability, humility and loyalty were proven you could progress and navigate your way through to a network of positions and opportunities,
Now you have to be a master of so many skills that aren't't the task in essence.
Those complimentary skills will seal the deal 9 times out of 10.
With guidance and a determined plan, maybe she''ll have the character to shine and progress.
Times on her side and a 5 year plan might just set her up for life.
I hope she has what it takes, and can follow directions onto a career.
Have fun, as others assisted success is almost as much fun as our own.
