Looking for info on global tech west africa

Could be a possible scam. I have been asked to look into the above mentioned company, as a friend has been asked to provide in house security training for them in Africa.

Sounds too good to be true apparently, so i've been asked to look into it for them.

Can't find an exact match via internet searches. They claim to be a subsidiary of a large telecomms firm.


Has anyone had any dealings with them? They could possibly be Nigerian, which I think has caused alarm bells to ring.


Any help Appreciated, Via PM is preferrable please.

Ammendment:

The firm is actually called GLOBALTOUCH WEST AFRICA. Telecomms firm in partner ship with Global Star.

Ginner...from and Old hand if that is ok..? You know how the saying goes, you have already written it so, If you have doubts at this stage, then..?????????????
 
Not me its for a friend. If it was me I would have run a mile.

I have looked into it and followed the paper trails. All the companies and names checked out and I looked extensively both digitally and physically where I could in the UK. I have advised the bloke who approached me to PID the two individuals he is in contact with to make sure they are the real people.


I think I may have stumbled onto my Forte!

I have actually had so form of dealings with Globaltouch West Africa, came across them while searching a human tracking system in Nigeria last year. I met the top officials of the company then last year at their office in Lagos, Nigeria. From what i know definately, they constructed Globalstar satellite earth station in Kaduna last year i feel its operational now. Would be most willing to help verify any info you might require from this side.

Also not everything from Nigeria is bad.
