Take a look at the Canon 7D Mk2. Very efficient auto focus system, 10 fps, crop sensor which brings telephoto shots a 1.5x closer.
I have one as my 'B' camera, has been brilliant for sports, action and wildlife... and surveillance.

Why did any of you enrol on these courses? What was the deciding factor that convinced you to part with your money and enrol?
Was it the cost, the promise of work, the fancy website or was it just down to poor research on your part?

The syllabus hasn't changed. It's always included mobile surveillance techniques, methods and procedures together with accurate commentary.
What you don't get assessed on, is the actual 'behind the wheel' bit, otherwise we'd be failing a lot more students than we do!

The job of surveillance operative can include dancing on your head if that is what you want to do, but you may not get very far in the grand scheme of things.
If all you want to do is foot surveillance, no one is going to stop you.
However, as the others have said, foot surveillance on its own...
Having looked at their website and reading between the lines, I would suggest that you ring that company up and ask to speak to Patrick Carter and ask him how many years he has served as an investigator and what qualifies him to offer training...
