Help get the Legion to number 1 for Remembrance Sunday

Support the Royal British Legion?... a no-brainer, as far as I am concerned! I wouldn't normally "spam" a forum, but this is my first exception in the 20 years I've had an online presence... http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/support-us/poppy-single Help get the Legion to number 1 for Remembrance...

"Door Supervising: The Low Profile Skills" by Ronnie Gamble... any good?

I was looking for some books about Door Supervision and stuff, and came across the above. Does anyone know it? Is it any good, or is Mr Gamble talking a load of old cobblers? Can anyone recommend any books for new Door Supervisors? Thanks!

My license was granted today - 11 days after they received the form (6 working days) - so one of the quickest I've heard of! Now to get a job...!

    DS/SG First Aid equipment: advice?

The little one is in a pouch which measures 3x4x1 inch - containing gloves and wipes - definitely not much space! However, I'd probably be inclined to ditch it, and put gloves in with the Merlin. It does help - as does everyone elses' replies. I don't want to be over-equipped, but I also...
