Alternatives to 192.com

Hi all

I wonder if anyone has any experience of other platforms other than 192.com for the purpose of background checks - are there better resources for available at a similar price? I've been using 192.com on recommendation from another Pi, but wonder what else is worth considering.

Do people use any other decent software for background checks?

I would second that. Speak to ISS or get on google and phone these people to see what they offer. It is the best way to start understanding them although having been there appreciate it can be daunting. You currently use 192 so you have something to compare it too when you ring others. It is occasionally useful and often handy for the free search results to indicate if it will be worth using one of your credits with your own provider as there is no point in paying to draw a blank. I would much rather tell people we use a less controversial and better presented organisation of which there are plenty. The key thing is that you negotiate hard on the price and never agree it there and then, get it as low as you possibly can. You must do this!
 
I think that most companies use the same data sources, principally the voters register, I think 192.com are the longest established.
