Hi,

I've been researching CP course's for a while now. I'm finally planning to travel over to the UK in April. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has attended any or all of the following courses please.

Anubis, Control Risk or Longmoor

I really like the look of all three, however Aussie exchange rate leaves me with only one choice!!!!

Any feedback would be greatly apprciated.

Kind Regards

Jason

hello mate,

ive recently done anubis, finished the course in october so only a few weeks ago. pm me and ill tell you all about it.

i cant comment on the other 2 im afraid because all the people i know who have done them did so a couple of years ago but feel free to ask me mate

Fletch;

It'd be interesting to see a brief review and your thoughts on Anubis CP course for all CPW members, if you feel up to writing a few short lines on the course? It'll save you answering individual PM's...

Cheers :)

Dear All,

Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who offered course and career advice over the past month. This forum is fantastic, we often speak of the need to network in our community, I can testify to the fact that it is alive and well right here at CPW. I received long and valuable responses from over 20 people offering great insight into both course, academic and professional training.

After much thought I have decided on commencing my UK studies with the following:

5 day Surveillance course with Peter Jenkins ISS Training

Anubis CP Course

Enrolment in the Foundation Degree in Security and Risk Management at Leicester University (Following on to a BA).

I'll continue on with my study for the ASIS CPP exam.

With 20 years of commercial security experience behind me hopefully this will put me in a better position for future career advancement.

I'd like to thank the following people:

Gabi, Art72, Sunshine, NGIP, DOTA, Stumpy, Spoman, RW1, Jordo18, Sean 161UK, Matty2rgs, Rupert, mmorg3053, Carl Dowd, Rich H, AjLL, Poacher, Fletch1982, Phil O Neil, Dave Scott, Geoff Padgham, Peter and Debra Jenkins.

Hi Chris,

Thanks veruy much mate, for sure I'll be over in March will have a few days off 12th to 16th I think....thanks for all of your great advice.

Yeah have decided to give Leicester a try and after contact with Geoff Padgham and Dave Scott confirmed my place on March Anubis CP. CR and Longmoor both look great, however as I'm mainly looking for a CP course with a corporate slant, I think Anubis is the one for me.

Look forward to catching up with you, my shout on the beers!!!
