courses required

You need to get the basics covered, but try to demonstrate that you excel at something...

What are you naturally good at? Expedition stuff, medical stuff, firearms, blending in socially?

For a CV to stand out it needs to look like it represents a real person with real relevant talent.

If you tick boxes, that is just what it will look like. ;)

Hi Mark,

Good question, I would say a decent driving qualification and medical qualification are the two things you are most likely to need and what an employer who has their head screwed on recognise. You must get across on a CV that you are able to recognise potential problems at an early stage which is a life skill gained mainly through experience.

Good luck.......Nippy

If you are going to do a firearms course, then don't do it in mainland UK. No matter what anyone tells you, there is no access to the weapons you would use on deployment and .22LR, airsoft and single pull training doesn't cut it and is a waste of your money. Do it right. If you want to do it in Europe, go to Eurotactical. If you want to do it in the U.S. give us a call.
