GPS Units for cameras

No down side. There's various bits of kit out there that embed GPS data, time / date etc. Undeniable proof that you / the subject, were there. (Except of course that anything can be spoofed / faked.)

....unless of course, you need to prove you were someplace else at the time :)
 
If you don't need it don't use it.

1. It only tells you where your position was when the image was taken - not where the target was.

2. If you fail to remove the EXIF data from a disclosed image, the defence may be able to find out where you were when you took the image.

3. It drains the batteries on your camera.

4. Enrol on a surveillance photography course or buy a book on Covert Imagery..... ;o)
