So that'll be extra modules on the courses from the TP's.

1) Unarmed Nappy Changing.

2) Evasive & Defensive Buggy Techniques. (Off Road & High Speed Modules extra.)

3) Disarming a 2 yr old of his Pokemon.

+ a whole new section in the kit and equipment forum, advising on suits with wipe clean, puke proof, shoulders and lapels.

....and I'll come up with gucci range of 'baby monitors' !

V :)

Why not? Although I'd have my fist 90 degrees to that. Teaching punching is fine as long as you teach good places to hit and teach other techniques.
I'd be more concerned about the fact that his T-shirt says "Tai Kwan Do".

They don't have to have a CP licence as it is not their main job, just a possible addition should the situation arise. Its just the same as shop assistants not needing an SG licence to deal with shoplifters.

Not their main job?Close protection of a child, course its their primary job!from illness,accidents,abduction/Kidnapping ! course its their main job,the same as carrying the hand wipes/durex and alka seltzer for your adult client?
Not going to argue about closed fist!dont teach it myself apart from hammer blows and certain Dim Mak strikes !but when the s**t hits the fan and the adrenaline kicks in and the controlled dojo/gym training becomes gutter or street fighting in the real world you hit them with whatever youve got?You must win!!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes a lot of time and conditioning to get a punch right have have your fist survive intact. He is teaching open hand in other photos and that is where those with minimal contact time should focus - very few but very effective techniques. Raking someones eyes with your fingers is going to beat a panicked girl punch to the face every time.

By teaching a numerous of techniques in that session all he is doing is building on the problems Hicks law puts up and reducing practise time on the few they might have a chance with.
