ISPS Security Officers Course

Can anyone help?

We are looking for a one - two day ISPS course for security officers working in and around a Port environment.

The Port of Liverpool Police used to train security officers in this and it was tailor made searching vehicles, personnel and threat levels etc but unfortunately they no longer provide this service.

We are based in Liverpool so travelling is a problem for us and we would only be looking to get 6 - 8 staff max on this course as it is for a contract looking after a vessel whilst it is in Port loading its cargo.

There is not a need for this for the contract we have but I would like the staff au-fait with the ISPS code and procedures etc

I have completed a PFSO course but have just noticed it is out of date and would also like to be refreshed in the code etc.

If anyone can help or know of any courses it would be appreciated.
 
Try the nautical college at Fleet if you want it on your doorstep or National Security College for a security over seagoing officer perspective.

I have tried to contact lairdside maritime as thats who I did my PFSO with, but the main guy wont return my call for some reason I think they would rather stick to the PFSO / SSO course by the sound of it, as the girl did not have a clue what I was on about.

I will contact ukmarine training today. Th Port Police dont do them anymore as that would be the easiest option.

Thanks we have gone through lairdside maritime as they are running them in conjunction with a retired Port Police instructor.

Having provided ISPS services in Liverpool previously, we are most flexible and will tailor our delivery to your requirements.... albeit they may have already been fulfilled.
