Looking to be a doorman...

Hello m8, I,m new to DS work. If you look on Ebay or Amazon, you might find alot of decent books on security and DS work. One I,m reading at the moment is called "Safer Doors" by Lee Morrison, also, Door Supervising -"The Low Profile Skills" by Ronnie Gamble. I can imagine reading books is nowhere as good as on the job experience, but its a start and it will steer you in the right direction. Let me know how you get on m8!. Also, talking to doormen at your local venues will give you an insight into the job they do, but dont talk to them when you,ve had a few, becuase they wont take you serious.
