Medic Trainer (MRAP Ambulance Field Service Representative)

Stanley Associates (wholly owned subsidiary of CGI Federal) is looking for a Medic Trainer (MRAP Ambulance Field Service Representative) to work in our Fort Sam Houston, TX location. The MRAP Ambulance Field Service Representative is responsible for providing New Equipment Training (NET) for the ambulance variants of the MRAP Family of Vehicles (MRAP FoV) as well as the casualty evacuation capabilities resident on non-ambulance variants of the MRAP FoV. This consists of, but not limited to preparing the MRAP Ambulance and the MRAP Medical Equipment Set (MRAP-MES) for fielding, providing classroom and hands-on training on the Medical Mission Package (MMP), and the employment of the CASEVAC Conversion Kits.

Specific Duties:

- Conduct inventory of the MRAP-MES and track and report equipment and MES issues
- Install and integrate the MRAP-MES inside the MRAP Ambulance
- Track and report non-mission capable pre-fielded ambulances
- Conduct functional verification of patient berthing system to ensure the system can transition into all patient load configurations
- Conduct a thorough functions checks of ambulance system components
- Ensure all patient safety devices are present and function correctly
- Ensure all installed GFE does not interfere with Medical Mission Package functionality
- Provide hands-on training on CASEVAC Operations on MRAP non-ambulance vehicle variants
- Interact with vendor Field Service Representatives to correct discrepancies
- Provide classroom instruction and extensive hands-on training on the MRAP Ambulance and the MRAP-MES

- Develop reports to support product improvement initiatives
- Coordinate fielding and training requirements with gaining organizations
- Assist with developing program of instructions and other training and instructional materials

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 15 years directly related work experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer MOS: 68W 40/50 (equivalent of a Sergeant First Class or Master Sergeant) in the U.S. Army or other U.S. Military service equivalent required.

Additional Requirements

- Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.
- Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to travel up to 90% or 100% less.
- Must have served in combat units such as Infantry, Stryker, or Heavy Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) medical units at the Battalion level to include medical company (waiver able)
- Must have served as a Medical Platoon Sergeant or First Sergeant with at least 5 years of direct Soldier supervisor experience, or equivalent
- CONUS based MED-FSRs must meet the qualifications to obtain and retain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- Experience related to the vehicle mission profile and intended employment
- Familiarity with military maintenance procedures
- Experience in training and instruction in a military setting
- Familiarity with current clinical guidelines for Tactical Combat Casualty Care
- Familiarity with use and functions of the components of the medical equipment set
- Ability to acquire a corporate credit card
- Ability to acquire a passport
- Ability to travel with military personnel in continental United States (may include Hawaii and Alaska)
- Ability to travel for temporary duty with military personnel to Japan
Ability to obtain a CDL Class 1 license (for CONUS assignments)

Preferred:

- Combat operational experience with MRAP Ambulances
- Instructor Certification through U.S. Army Medical Department Center & School to instruct 68W/91W/91B curriculums, basic and advance leadership courses
