RMP advice and help...

hey folks although i have put it in my introduction post i thought id post it in here aswell, im currently appluing for the RMP. a little bit about me, im 21 almost 22 i have worked the doors for 3 1/2 years and currently work as a security officer in a boring shopping centre. i completed my BARB test in the middle of march scoring 66 (would have liked to score better) but it means that im technically eligable to join. application sent of and medical has been sent back and resent from gp with extra information on it. so things should start moving abit quicker now.
a few things that concern me though. i have heard that the RMP may not be taking on for the time being or up to two years, can any one in or with any more knowledge of this give me any more info. also i have heard about the possibility of all three polices combining to make a forces police, again if any one has any info that they are allowed to post please do (i understand if you know but cant/wont disclose on here) i went through the careers office but they havnt mentioned anything about not accepting.
further more any advice tips tricks or hints to help me get in will be very appreciated.
ive wanted this for a while and now its the right time for me, ive been taining almost exclusivly for joining for almost 4 months. i look foward to your responses thanks

I know this is only a forum but your post has masses of errors and is probably why people haven't piped up.

Fully agree with CM, attention to detail is paramount, you simply won't have time to spend on triple checking. If you want it work hard for it and the kill time till it opens up again. Retention at the min is quite good so its no surprise its shut to be honest.

Visit a TA RMP unit and see if you would be interested in that to start with, just an idea.

Totally agree with wingnut, visit your local RMP TA unit and see if it is for you. I would hope that the errors in the post message are typo's, but if not you need to have spelling sorted before you go anywhere near the training depot, there is a lot of writing my friend.

I wish you the best of luck and i had many good years in the RMP, its a very good family to be around

I agruu with all abov regerding speling and typos. Never the less I wish you good luck and all the best with your career mate. I also think the TA RMP sounds like a wize path.
