Role and Responsibilities
The Security officer provides personnel and document security support to the Counterinsurgency Targeting Program (CITP). The Security Officer works closely with the NGIC S2 and Special Security Officer (SSO) to manage CITP Contractor clearances and access. The Security Officer in-processes and out-processes CITP personnel and arranges security in-briefs and debriefs for appropriate levels of access, including SI, TK, Gamma, HUMINT Control System (HCS), NATO, and programs requiring information access controlled under Alternative or Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), or Special Category (SPECAT) programs. The security officer ensures Contractor personnel are properly maintained in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and as necessary in the Army Clearance Access Verification System (ACAVS). The Security Officer will monitor Contractor compliance with annual security training requirements including Intelligence Oversight and other NGIC, INSCOM, DA, DOD and Theater security requirements. The Security Officer coordinates security and clearance actions with the CITP Operations Team, and CITP Branch Senior Principal Analyst’s and the Contractor security manager. The Security Officer performs his/her primary duties at the NGIC and is non-deployable. Contractor employees filling this position shall be considered key personnel.
Requirements:
The Security Officer will have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Office® tools, including SharePoint®; possess five years of personnel and document security experience, or equivalent amount of experience as a Special Security Officer; experience with JWICS , SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools, including JPAS and ACAVS and databases used to support security activities and a high school diploma or GED.
Prefered and Experience:
Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree.

This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance
