It's actually a notification of a new camcorder that is a "Grand Child" of the original "MIDNITEYES-66" Camcorder I made in 1990/1 that was then copied in Japan, and every other camcorder maker made various versions of, and still do. Pleased to say, none of them copied the bit I started with back then, and I still do to this day; low light enhanced video that stays in colour even when the POV is 'painted' with any level or frequency of Infra Red illumination. I was not going to talk about any of this until we were back living in the UK. Christmas is a good time to 'look around' one's life and consider what to think about in the coming year. For instance, Christmas Day there was not a cloud in the sky and the temperature outside was one of the, to me, magic temperature days; it was 28c or back to front 82f. I checked on line and could not find anywhere in the British Isles any where close to that. I am too old to listen to "BS" any more, or advice; "Why don't you do this, or that" often because I did it 25 years ago and it doesn't work; or I did it, couldn't fund it and it got copied. Surveillance has been around for hundreds of years, and it can be thought of, as variations of "seeing without being seen" but now with it needs to be recorded to be believed. End of boring 'ramble' along Memory Lane.
Cutting to the 'Chase' I have given into pressure on several fronts and I am now working on a small '2016' updated and digital "MIDNITEYES-66" Camcorder. I wanted to call it; BIIC ("But it's in colour") a phrase used by an RM friend of a friend when he saw some footage taken in low light of some other RM people on an exercise. That was 1991.
