What do you use and can you recommend a site for online sales? personally i like the look of the magnum style but haven't tried them yet, I'm not a big fan of the old DM's.

The best boots I ever had was a couple hiking boots from ecco bought in a sportshop
When I worked in Afghanistan I used 5,11 nice soft boots
And I can recommend any of the above.
However since we do sell some equipment to security friends and people we work with we offer Magnum boots I am sure you can get them in your country for a good price and they are excellent, when i worked the doors and walked on patrols I had several Magnum boots and think they are the most used boots in the security industry, just dont buy black ones if going to the middle east...sand / dirt and black clothing dont work good

Try the search bar top right,
This ones been batted around a few times, now.
Danners for I, just got a new pair, and love the support they give.
Old fashioned pro-boots are an affordable option.

I'd recommend the magnum patrol boot, as used by some security people and police. There the ones that look more like a hiking boot, rather than a military high leg boot.

all the best

magnum high leg boots i used them the past 4 years and i swear by them on the doors/site and events.never let me down all round excellent boot try milletts there the most competative in price.

hope this is useful moodie

lowa gtx fantastic boots, quite expensive but well worth the extra, tested them through the winter working many hours out in the cold. I had the thermal lowa insole as a extra and never had cold feet once.A1 for long hours on your feet.Did find i needed to go up a half a size more than my magnums

Just got a new pair of Lowa. are quite expensive but it is like working with your slippers in. mine are dual purpose, as i wear them for my platoon parade. but i have an old pair that i use in the field and they are just as comfy and they are about four years old.

But look around and dont cut corners on footweat though!
