Brexit anyone ; if it hasn't been covered already.

Well at least we've got a ready made border in place with Hadrian's wonderful wall. Unlike N.I.
We could revive an apprenticeship brick scheme in build that one and fortifying Scotland's old one.
Or with some strategic fracking we could set Scotland adrift.[/QUOTE

And they'll sub the Manned Guarding and Border Control out to G4S.

If they do I'm outta here, seriously, won't be worth the effort.....

Sorry Nicolas, I just checked my bellybutton and it's defiantly an outie. So things didn't go your way missus, spit the dummy and huff... Seriously? And that other cnut who has a petition online with 3million signatures.... just got found out that a lot were faked. There won't be another referendum, I got outa my bed to vote leave... I'm not doing that twice. We will be grand, aye the pounds down a bit, aye the EUs saying get the UK out ASAP cos their prides hurt. Section 50 will be started when the right negotiations deem fit. Britain will prosper in the end. Good result,

The second referendum campaign petition was started by a 'LEAVE' supporter back in November it seems.
Certainly falls under the heading of
'Be Careful What You Wish For'
It was slim victory in the grand scheme of things. I can see that.
And With excuses of the rain kept many home . (That cuts both ways)
We were lied to (cuts both ways again)
We didn't know what we were getting into (was the EU ever going to treat us fairly - in or out)
The EU still seems to hold the same attitude to us still.
A dumping ground for their unemployed, criminals and beggars.
Somewhere to dump there products and turn a buck.
And a cash cow to bolster their ludicrous schemes.
To be in a strong position for negotiations is to show your intent.
So let's prep to send ALL the EU migrants home, and let's see the EUs leaders poker faces after that bombshell. Seems a good starting point to me.

I have always had a strong stomach ,but today i felt quite ill and embarrassed ? Why ?

I am English, my dad was English and my mother English, her parents where Liverpool Irish Dockers and on my Great grandfathers side all Highland Scots, my ancestry is Basically Scottish,Irish and English ,Wales must be somewhere in my bloodline as it is in my Children as my wife is English her mom is Irish and her Dad was Welsh,

Today i witnessed a Scottish MEP beg to be forgiven and plead with the European Council not to desert scotland ,as the Scots are true Europeans ?

Their forefathers must be turning in their graves.

Don't worry Scotland will be saved by its new ally when it joins 'greater Germany'
The invite is out already. Herr Oberstoffen Vonn Crankie has a nice ring about it, don't you think. Well suits our little Nicholla

Sturgeon is embarrassing us Scots, she is a traitor to the UK.
Someone needs to have a word with her. The figures due to turnout for the Eu referendum are false, 2.6 votes while Scottish independance 3.6 voted..
She will never get what she wants, where's the voice for the 55% No voters to independance.
We need Westminster to step up.

It is a strange voting system we operate for the general elections.
Where the SNP party can get 56 MPs from a little over 1.5million votes.
The greens nearly got the same overall votes and got one MP
The Lib Dems got nearly twice the votes of the SNP and got but 8 seats.
And 3.6 million national voters for UKIP only ended up with the power of one MP.
The referendum gave each man a national vote. And leave was the result. We've got two years plus to sort it out. No more bluffing, no more threatening. The world is our oyster and not just Europe.
We are in the best bargaining position for the UK right now.
The EU need to start playing cricket and understand that we control who we want and who we need. We are to be longer the dumping ground for the unemployed of their failed experiment.
The big question now is what fool do we have to lead us onward and upward. (We don't even control the choice, till the next election)

Has virus pulled a strategic retreat and handed over a poisoned chalice to those who have been cast into the spot light or is it in front of the headlights in reality.
Will the follow on candidates be viewed in the same light as john major, undeserving and back stabbing. The winner will have to take us out of the EU and to nearly 50% of the population and the majority of the conservatives that stains you as the spawn of the devil.
I think Boris has dodged a bullet. Maybe at a later date he ride down from the hills and save the conservatives. Who are not far behind labour in the melt down stakes. Time will tell.

OJ,

Boris has indeed dodged a bullet and Gove has shown himself for what he really is, at 11:00 today he is having a press conference...
Hope his wife is there to pull the stings, Boris will be ok and no doubt May will take us slowly out of the EU.

Regards

premier

Theresa May precided over the biggest immigration surge in the uk history, has said she won't start article 50 and brexit negotiations until next year and is a remain voter..

If she gets in as prime minister we may have never had a referendum vote and may have well just kept Cameron on. He left cos he was a remain voter and said he couldn't give his all to negotiate brexit. So we need a leave voter now.
Just my view.

She is indeed a risk re regarding brexit negotiations. Who ends up in support of her tenure will be very important. More money and power to border control is a must.
She will also need to create a strong and true brexit team to secure what the vote asked for.
Her declaration of brexit is brexit and no change in that gives a little reassurance.
But her track record on immigration is not that reassuring.
And Gove is Gone to my mind.
Her background is more in touch with the average joe and far from the landed gentry of recent terms.
Hopefully she'll rebuild our brilliant grammar school system of old.
Taking the best of the other classes and making them better.
We live in hope.
