CPD training wanted from 6/5/2011

Hi Guys,
Im after some CPD training.
airway management in suction
medical gases
Immobilization and extraction spine board use etc

Theses are just some wish list areas im working as a medic in afghanistan and have done these areas before but getting CPD training inbetween tours is a biatch!

Im not looking for freebies and im willing to pay. I will of course do a course/training review on CPW.

Kev, Trauma Care conference is always a good CPD event, it's on from 16th - 19th May. Lots of intellectual input, lots of networking. It may not have the specific workshops you have asked for, but it will have a huge amount of trauma care education opportunities. Conferences - Trauma Care UK

There's also a conference on in London in late May (26th & 27th), jointly between the Intensive Care Society and the Emergency Physicians in Intensive Care, each day of which is approved for CPD. Title: "Resuscitate and then..." It's more critical care focused, but has a good mix of sessions from speakers who really know their stuff, and the ones that I have met have their feet firmly on the ground.

I might check out that Trauma conference myself, it sounds good.
 
If anyone is going to the Trauma Care conference (thanks, Invictus) in Telford next week, and fancies meeting up some evening for a drink and a natter, let me know.
