CPW member motorbike/car meetups for 2011.

i shall have you know i am very passionate about 4x4's and the like, nothing beats a lovely battered old defender for kicking about in, and i used to have a bike when i was a mere slip of a girl so there, i'm not admitting what it was as i will get mocked to death but i loved that bike restored it myself with my grandfather, took me 18 months, bought it when i was barely 15 and stripped it right down and started again, so there if there was a smiley with a tongue sticking out you'd have it but there isn't :)

Just passing this on for your future use Annie....:p

Max :D

>>Chucks an '83 Porsche 924 into the kitty....and just brought an old Toyota HiLux that needs christening.

Count me in !

And if you're looking for a venue, try Bruntingthorpe

I could probably sort something out for Dunsfold in early 2011
Which some of you might know as the Top Gear Track.
I can have a word with Graham, who runs 'Beat the Stig',
and his race team is based there.
I'll come back with some dates and an exclusive price,(no outsiders)
and find out the numbers that could attend.
maybe he could lay on a skid pan or skid car, just to justify the fun.
Give me a day or so.

Now how we keep it safe and secure is another question.

(Could be a good trial day for the 'Newbies' to prove themselves.)

Hi dodger
know what your sayin mate
i creak more than the bike these days,an i live in the sun
baldrick

This cold weather isn't good for the knees on my sports bike, the street fighter is a bit more upright but still kills the knees in the cold:confused:
Oh to be in the sun again:cool::D

''Two wheels short of enough sense''

as my nan used to say when I was younger.

If anyone can point me as to where to rent a decent bike, i'll fly out (in the 4 days of Summer lol) and join a CPW breakfast run.

count me in for the petrol head section, superbikes a speciality, up for a ride out too but limited to Northern Ireland for the moment.

it looks like most track days next year run about £89.00- £105.00 depending on which track so if there is enough riders you might get a good deal , also every year there is speed weekend down in Brighton thousands make the journey starting at ace's cafe and the obvious finish in Brighton. people come from Germany , Holland , France all over ,great weekend with a quarter mile drag on the beach front on Saturday , sadly two fatalities this year going home but still a fantastic ride.

This sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe get the snow over and done wth first before the bikes come out to play. Ace Cafe is good for me too.

OJ that beat the stig day sounds sweet even more so if we can add the skid pan.
