I am booked onto an SSO course 23rd Jun 09, with Independant Maritime Security Associates www.imsaltd.com The company are based in Poole Dorset. This was a prize that was donated to the Forum meeting raffle in London recently, that I was fortunate enough to win.

Due to short notice work commitments, I will be travelling abroad for a week on Sunday so will be unable to attend. If you are able to attend on Monday and be present for 0845 hrs, I will send you all the required information and you can attend in my place. So a free SSO course valued at over £500. All you will have to pay is for 2 nights accommodation in the area.

I will email the company and pass your details stating you will be attending in my place. Hope this will help someone out that wants to get into the Maritime Sector. Would have changed the dates but they have been away from office for a couple of days and would rather someone from here attends than loose the course.

Thanks Annie. Tried to change the dates but no one in at IMS as its a weekend and better to put a bum on a seat than 1 short on the course.

Had a few of my collegues ask for it but as it was won at the London forum thought it was only fair one of the members here benefits from it and in the current climate hope it helps someone out. Just a shame I have to travel overseas for a quick week but at end of day if it gets me work had to be sacrificed lol

Not sure if anyone from IMS reads this but once again thanks for the prize at London Forum and if I attend the course later in the year when I get a chance will book it through them so they get the buisness.
