Bonjour à tous,

I would like to ask if anybody has had any experience in the industry in France or currently works with a French company.

Obviously the industry in France is at a different stage than in England. The largest difference being that the French governement has not yet allowed French flagged vessels to carry armed private guards. From what I read in the forums here, the industry in England is a little saturated meaning that work is difficult to find and a lot of very qualified people are chasing fewer and fewer positions.

I am ex-FFL, serving the 5 year minimum contract with 2REP and now looking to enter the industry. I know very well that it would be difficult to enter the industry in England, so for the moment I am looking towards France for posible positions.

I would like to hear from people who have worked or are working in France on the state of the industry and the chances of successfully entering.

Whatever you do, stay away from Catherine Yelma and WCM Ltd. They will fcuk you around and sell you bullshit certificates that are either useless or that you don't need. She targets people coming out of the Legion. Legio Patria Noastra
