Real ? Not Real?

Looks real fun, I couldn't say with 100% certainty if it real or not without the original pic.

That said I am leaning towards not real, only because I'm a cynical sod.

Peter (ISS) may know better than I but the shutter speed would need to be high up there to have no blur as he exited the plane or it could have been taken from a video and edited the frames to get the still?

More likely used with flash in order to freeze the jumper in mid air (even with a shutter speed of 1/200).

The image is too low res' to examine the pixels.

I have been reliably informed, and hour ago, it was frame 3 of an 8 frame burst. Should have checked first. Taken 'some time' ago and was not their first attempt.

Yeah could be real, I have seen some very athletic exits during Military Free-Fall! but I will say this? the controlling 'Air@ authority of that particular country may not like the stunt..! so to publish some photographs may not always be a good idea, not from any security issue but purely from safety Parameters and what is acceptable by let's say in the UK..? The CAA... During the 'Trials' phase for Military Tandem (Different to Civilian Tandem) I remember an Instructor jumping with 2 young girls attached to the same system... A4 size adverts went round the military units in the usual 'Banter mode' reading: "Military Tandem, jump with a friend"... SF Chelsea went absolutely ballistic! a real SOH failure :)
