Hey to all of you out there striving for improvement (like myself) and to those who got the necessary knowledge already to give some advice :-)
Just finished my 5months job so thought why not to undertake some training. So been looking to improve my surveillance skills as well as get some qualification in this field. After conducted my research ISS TRAINING LTD looks like one of the strongest in London (well at least from my point of view). So my question would be has anyone of you lads and ladettes did any training with them ? ? If yes what do you think about the training itself by pointing out the strongest/weakest points and ect. Or if you have some other companies or courses to recommend - your opinion would be well appreciated.

For the beginning I am looking to do "5 DAY FOOT & MOBILE SURVEILLANCE (BTEC LEVEL 3 AWARD). Afterwards will depend on my own experience to carry on or not with them further:-)

P.S. haven`t done any solely surveillance training before however did touch a bit of it at close protection training.

Well no reply what so ever in regards ISS surveillance course. So I honestly hope that the course is so good that all keeps their mouth shut lol:-) Because I am enrolling on it from the 8th of February

All what is yours only what you can take with you every time and everywhere.
Would not say so about the money :-)

If you do a search on this forum, you will find a number of posts providing comments on ISS training. So far the feedback is quite positive. ISS has a good reputation.

Peter Jenkins, the proprietor of ISS, is a former Royal Marine and author of two (soon to be three) well-regarded books on surveillance. I have a copy of his second book and consider it to be the best work on the subject that I have yet encountered.

If the ISS course delivers teaches the material covered in the book, then you should be getting very good value for the money you spent on training.

Once you have completed the ISS course, I encourage you to post a review on CPW letting everyone know what you think of the course.

Regards,

Dave

Thanks Dave I will post my overview about the course as soon as I will finish it so I think in the next 5-10 days mate. Plus pulled my mate with who I did C.P. training course so it would be kind of two people evaluation ! !

Nice plug there Peter haha, straight from the horses mouth. Ok i know a few people who have done a course with Peter J at ISS and to be honest i have never in all the time i have been here on the forum and thats almost 2 years ever heard a bad thing about ISS. Just get me another pint in Peter at next forum meeting haha.

seriously though never heard a bad report about them at all, everyone speaks very highly of their training with ISS so enjoy your course if you choose togo there and let us know how you get on

i went down for the day to ISS to do there 1 day electronic surveillance course
(i like to see how the other hand works against the other)
i found it quite intresting with a good mix of guys and peter jenkins was a top bloke taking the time to go over anything making sure you go home understanding what he has taught you on the day.

Would the ISS training be suitable for Door supervisors or if not, Private investigator?, just wondering what anyone thinks, I wasnt sure when I looked at the website, if it was just for CPO's.

Pigeon.

Pigeon,

Our training relates to covert surveillance and can be carried out by anyone who wishes to work in the Investigations or surveillance sector. We often get Door supervisors on the courses who wish to expand their knowledge.

If you send the office an email with your details, we can put a brochure in the post to you.

Hope this helps

Regards

Peter @ ISS

Isn't it annoying when someone is so good! lol. They must be doing something right as their reputation is second to none! Nice to see a decent operator doing well!!!! :)
