God Bless iPhone

Unless I've missed some big business news, isn't Mr Gates Microsoft rather than Apple. Bill probably has an HTC phone.

My mistake, but the bastard near nye owns the world anyway, sure he'll have shares in it somewhere.
(I was just testing, to see who was paying attention, whoooopppss)

I love my Blackberry but can't wait to get a SIM free Iphone.........multiple SIM's gotta love the cheap rate local calls.

There is nothing more frustrating for a CPTL to have guys on the team that are clicking away with a stylus or 'playing' with their phone on personal issues.

Mmmm.......I can top that.......caught one of my drivers watching an episode of South Park!!!

The mind boggles.

For those guys using radios there is a good antenna length calculator app.

Tap in your frequency and it works out the quarter wave length.

There is also a 'secret camera' which lets you take photos without putting the image on the display before taking it.

I've also seen a metal detector app but not tried it.

Peter @ ISS

I have only just got my iphone, now I have the following apps:

Red laser
LEDit
Fone Jacker
Metal Detector (curiosity really)
My car check (which if you add a VRN will tell you all about the car, not the owner)
Type and walk
Hostel world

I've also got a good range of children's apps for my three year old. Perfect for when you need 10 minutes of peace and quiet. I love my iPhone.

The Iphone is a great bit of kit and the apps are amazing and grow in number every day,the only problem i have with the phone is that they have an internal battery which costs £99.00 to have replaced from the apple shop....Unless your in the know how to strip the phones to replace your own it a bit of a rip..(there rep told me they usually last 2000 charges..)

I had my iPhone for 1 month before I sold it. GREAT as a gadget but fecking USELESS as a phone! Places where I've never had a problem with signal before, I'd get 'no signal' message constantly. I had to turn 3G off in order to get any reliability with signal, because if it was trying to switch between 2G/3G it would lose signal completely. Not only a pain for using it as a phone, but no 3G meant any apps that needed connection were next to useless.

Looking on Apple forums, it would seem signal issues are not uncommon. Fine if you only ever use the phone in urban areas, but out in the sticks (where I live and work) no use at all.

Sold it, gone back to Nokia and voila, I have a 'phone' again.

Should I need mobile internet and email again in a similar capacity, I'll choose a blackberry :)

damn cheek of the man ;)

:D:D:D:D

Woman actually :p
Seriously, if they improved the antenna so it would get a consistent signal where I needed it (I've checked the Orange maps and it's not like we're in a black hole here, it's just not 'excellent') I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! But to use as a phone it's naff all use if you can't even get a network signal to make a call :(

I have an iPod touch (for music and apps generally), shuffle (for the gym), nano (for running with Nike+) and the older style iPod with clickwheel so I do like Apple stuff when it does what it's meant to!

Orange's signal is always bit of a nightmare. I've found it's been rubbish with most phones I've had. Honestly, I think my iPhone's been working better than my last HTC with regards to signal.

I've been on orange for years, and never had a signal problem really until I got the iPhone. Suddenly in places where I'd always been able to make/take calls I was getting 'no signal'! Blimmin frustrating.

My lovely daughter has just passed on to me her 1 month old much covetted white iPhone 3Gs.
What a lovely child. (but she still needs to tidy that bloody room of hers)
Tellingly though, her new phone is Blackberry Bold.
I've had an iPhone for a while now, great link to the car for music and hands free phone.
The gym has iPhone links on all the equipment.
And the Diary is second to none, for an old ludite such as I.
I always wrap it in a non slip shock skin, and cover the screen with a non scratch screen protector.
Great screen for me, great for using a tracking map on the sneaky slightly naughty client.
