Pass this on to UCP UK Training

Does anyone know about or have any involvement with the company or cockwombles from UCP UK Training?

If you do, can you have a polite word in their ear and ask them why are they using MY images, for their Facebook Page, without permission infringing my copyright.

I have given up writing to these companies who do not have the initiative, intelligence and photographic skill to use their own images, especially when they purport to offer professional training.

Pete,

Issue a cease and desist notice to them, oh and the invoice for the use of your image. The nerve of these people seriously!!!

Cheers Premier but I deal with these type of people all the time.... I now prefer to name and shame them.

If I don't, good people will be parting with their hard earned cash to companies who rope them in by their fancy websites using other peoples images...

Pete,

Name and shame, shall we as a group take a little look at who has had the gall to misrepresent themselves, and post our findings?

Obviously we won't.......

My resolution of, be more tolerant of others hasn't lasted very long!!!!

Do what we do, send them a Cease & Desist Letter and give them 7 days to remove them. If they don't, then sue the company and the individuals for false representation, and unauthorized use of proprietary content.

Make sure you have ownership information in the metadata of the images

Hi Pete

If you need any assistance on this, let me know. I'm experienced in intellectual property law.

You're right though, it can be time consuming for little gain. A nice social media campaign is your best bet!

Thanks

Easy to tell which ones are their own, have a flip through and spot the blurry ones :)

Maybe they should sign up for one of your photographic courses?
