Why so? Last week several mortors fired from Syria landed in Israel (no damage or injuries) and there was no relatioation.

Israel's statement was something along the lines of "It's an internal Syrian issue and Israel has no interest interfering".

Israel may be dragged into it if Assad has his back against the wall. When that happens there is no doubt that he will try and probably succeed in launching a missile strike at Israel as his "last stand". Another scenario may be if Assad's chemical weapons are given to or fall into terror group's hands (Hezbollah) - Israel would need to take care of that.

Assad is pulling at straws trying to drag others into the proxy war. I believe no doubt it is proxy war. Assad's last days are numbered. When you start leveling your own country then your in deep trouble. Hezbollah will try to get involved as Syria may get desperate and start begging for help. Nuclear weapons in the hands of Hezbollah would be a nightmare for the region. I'm sure recon is going on so they will know if he starts shifting around arms to South Lebanon. Israel has shown a lot of restraint with all the rockets being launched. Although no one is injured in most cases. The fact that it is going on shows enormous restraint. Not sure if I was in charge I could do it. Iran is arming the Syrians according to press reports. We have to cut off the supply of arms. I'm hoping after the elections America will step up to the plate and stop this massacre of innocent people.

Let's just wait for NATO..If they activate Act 5. then we have new war....That's good for business,isn't it??
