Dicks with sticks or gays on trays? Now there's a question.............

Personally, skiing is king, so I suppose I'm one of the dicks with sticks. I've had some fantastic trips to the Alps, Canada and US and worked as a ski instructor for a number of seasons (and yes, before anyone kicks off, I am qualified).
It's worth mentioning that a proportion of people of all age groups were taking ski lessons, despite having boarded for years. The reasons given were that they were fed up with having to sit or kneel all the time and they were fed up with trying to shuffle along the flatter bits (wrong terrain then maybe?). I also think that with the advent of modern twin tips and snow parks, it's put a younger mindset with a certain coolness back into skiing, that was maybe lacking within the alpine discipline of the sport.
So, not dissing the boarders, but skiing all the way.
For those interested:
Favorite skis - Volkl Mantra. An amazing all mountain tool
Boots - Fisher RC4. Snug with loads of feedback through the boot, but still keep the pinkies toasty.
Favorite resort - Difficult one, but it's got to be Grand Teton which is close to Jackson
Best alpine chalet - Seventy3 in LesArc, France. Fantastic atmosphere, great hosts and top notch scoff.
Fook, you've got me all fired up for a trip now........It's given me a slight buzz in me pants

See you all in the powder guys.
