Watches

I use a CWC G10 its stainless it glows in the dark (if Sunlight Charged) and it is virtually indestructible. Got issued mine but CWC do sell them and you wont break the bank either. Battery life is very good.

I have the Casio G-Shock (GW3500B-1A) Solar powered, brought it in the PX in Afghanistan way back in 2005 still going strong never replaced the bty. Very good watch. $100.00 US then

Nail on head Sir !

I have had the Casio Protrek, for about 4 or 5 years now. I was given it by a friend who used it as his diving watch in return for a place on a first aid course. I tend ware it every day. I have never had a problem with it in all that time, ok it’s got a few scuffs on the casing and the strap is showing some wear and tear but the face is unscratched and it’s never let me down. The only niggle with it is I need to send it back to the Casio main dealer to get the batteries replaced as it needs sealing / recalibrating. Batteries last me nearly two years, but saying that I don’t often use the other functions.
