Wilplan tarining

Hi John, not sure if you have been able to get a reply but I've just completed my course on the 5th of April with Wilplan. I felt the course was well structured and had a good bias between classroom learning and practical excercises. Would recommend them as I believe I have not only received the 'how to talk the talk' but also how to 'walk the walk'. If you want any more information please ask.

Hi John, having just completed the CP course at Wilplan last month i would totally recommend these guys, the course it self was well structured throughout, the instructors are there to get you way past the SIA exam and prepare you for the career of professional cp. Give them a ring and have a good chat, you can even pop in for an open day to meet and greet the guys and girls before you sell your soul!! Do yourself a favour run with these guys.

Bro have a good look around, there are many courses in the UK ive heard mixed things about the training provider you are asking for info on,but dont limit yourself to looking at one course, ring around a few, go and visit them and ask your questions, good look Ram out.

I beleive one of the trainers at wilplan was one of my trainers and if so he was very good. Knew his stuff, taught in a very structured manner, was a decent guy. Doesn't hold back, tells you what he reallythinks which is refreshing, even if it does hurt a bit at the time, but his lessons were good, and he worked us hard, but fair.

That said do look about, go see people call them up, have a chat, make a list of all you expect and ensure that the training providers can accommodate YOUR needs. Good Training providers are always happy to talk to you, and many have a policy of go have a look and see what they are doing and how they train which is a good way to get a feel for a course. It's a lot of money to pay so make sure you pick a course that suits you and what your needs are.

But if it is same trainer at Wilplan as i am tiold it is, and i am not using his name simply because it isn't my place to do so, then he was a great trainer and i learned a hell of a lot from him, even if he thought i didn't at the time haha

Yeah i know, you get days like that H, partly why i am retraining to be a lawyer, love the work and all that just the constant selling oneself and scratching about for work kills your spirit after a few years, have a cup of tea and a jammy dodger it will look better after that

Oh i'm really having an 'I can't be arsed' type of day today.... you know where you wonder why the hell you bothered to go through all the crap that you do to get where you want to be. 3 years of it now, had to turn down 3 jobs this week well last week, want to do something exciting and shit. Not all it's cracked up to be is this business really

Keep plugging away Annie - you might get lucky one day :D

Done plenty of jobs Rich but just gets so tiring somedays is all, i wish i had kept a count of how many CV's i have sent out, and how many jobs we all chase, you know what i mean just never ending somedays. All looks so bright and exciting when your there training and eager to go, then reality hits you that that is nothing compared to the mountain you get to climb to even get a first job. Never have a shortage of offers and got a steady supply of work now, just having one of them days is all when you look at it and god it makes you tired.:p

Nevermind suns shining and all that can't grumble eh

Wilplan were recommended to me by a company called RDS Training whom I did my DS course through here in Hull.

Not been over to see Gary and the team but have spoken with Claire Atherton via email and Gary on the phone. Seem like a great bunch but as people have already said do your research into each TP and get out to see them if you can as you will find that when you are looking for work "sometimes" you can get turned down just because of whom you trained with.
